The leadership team is responsible for organization of university-related affairs, maintaining contact with and receiving guests and visitors, organizing important meetings, official document handling, information disclosure, and handling legal affairs.
Responsible for establishing university-level personnel policies to provide a supportive academic and work environment and building a first-rate, internationally-qualified faculty and administrative team.
Builds ShanghaiTech’s scientific research and technological innovation capacity and is responsible for school research planning, policy development, training, project management, IPR management and tech transfer.
Promotes professional development for faculty through teaching training programs, teaching and learning assessments, information technology and academic support.
Manages international collaborations, coordinates university visits abroad, manages applications for business trips and international conferences, welcomes international delegations, and handles international student applications.
Is responsible for procuring equipment and managing equipment and facilities, including large-scale labratory equipment and special equipment. The office also supervises labratory safety and environmental protection.
Undertakes infrastructure projects including all prepatory work and is responsible for construction project implementation and management.
The Library and Office of IT Services is responsible for maintaining the library and campus internet.
Is responsible for school logistics, public safety and property and equipment asset management.
Handles accounting and audit supervision, preparation of the budget and revenue and expenditure plans, management of education and scientific research and infrastructure funds, accounting institutions set up within the school and accounting staffing.
Responsible for the implementation of the school party's ideological work, organizational system construction, and anti-corruption work.
